Recently, a Genesis Human Resource Business Partner worked with one of our clients in the technology industry to restructure the company’s health benefits. Under the old package, the employer paid a full 100% of the employees’ health costs. But in an economic slump, that generosity was difficult to maintain. Genesis worked with the client to develop several alternatives that would share the premium costs, while still providing the employees with top-notch health care.
"Our client wanted to continue providing the same benefits, so we helped them develop new options that would allow the benefits to continue, with a slight increase in costs to the employees," said Bob Burbidge, President of Genesis. "The employees appreciated keeping a full benefits package and full-time employment status."
