We are seeking a human resources generalist to join our team. As a Human Resources Representative you will assist our HR Business Partners in providing services within the full life cycle of human resources responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist HR Business Partners in meeting client and employee HR needs
- Respond to clients and employees with inquiries involving policies, procedures, and benefits (primarily phone and email)
- Assist in the development of job descriptions, employee handbooks, and workplace policies
- Prepare data for compensation and benefit surveys and/or research on the same
- Coordinate job postings and resume routing activities
- Conduct reference checks on candidates
- Conduct employee orientations to inform new hires of company benefits programs
- Create report queries and prepare report summaries for HR Business Partners and/or clients
- Educate clients and employees on the tools available within the GRC
- Some local travel to client sites as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
- A minimum of three years of HR Administrative or Generalist experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of HR principles and benefit programs
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision making
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required
- PHR certification is a plus

We have a unique opportunity for a Payroll CSR to join our team in servicing our clients in a multi-state and multi-site environment. Duties include ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws, as well as internal policies and procedures, and performing payroll functions for a designated client base. This is a hands-on position that requires great flexibility and adaptability to situations that can change rapidly. This position also involves extensive interaction with the Accounting and Human Resource functions.
The right candidate must possess excellent communication skills to address and resolve payroll issues, develop strong internal and external business partnerships, and consistently meet/exceed customer service standards by having a service-oriented approach to the job and with our customers.
Requirements
- Associates Degree preferred
- 1 - 2 years payroll experience in a fast-paced environment with multi-state and multi-site payrolls
- Sound knowledge of all aspects of payroll taxes and federal and state wage/labor laws
- General knowledge of employee benefits and employment practices preferred
- Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills - must be detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- High level of proficiency with spreadsheet and word processing applications
- Flexible in schedule to allow for the unique requirements of payroll processing. Specifically the ability and willingness to work certain holidays and or weekends in order to meet the payroll transmission requirements.
